Rustic Pitch Pine flooring salvaged from a commercial property in Glasgow. The images show the boards in their salvaged condition and after sanding with a hard wax oil finish. Although classed as a softwood, Pitch Pine is incredibly durable with excellent rot resistance, meaning it can even be used for exterior purposes such as decking, cladding etc. These boards are of the Victorian era, ideal for older, traditional properties. Please note this particular batch has occasional sheared nails on the face of the boards which will be exposed after the initial sand. These can be punched further into the wood and filled to conceal.
