Iroko flooring salvaged from Hallglen Community Centre in Falkirk, Central Scotland. The images show the boards in their salvaged condition and after sanding & sealing with a water-based varnish finish. Also known as "African Teak", Iroko is an incredible hardwood offering excellent durability. It is also frequently used for exterior purposes such as decking/cladding due to high rot & insect resistance. The warm, rich tone of the wood makes a statement and contrasts well with different colour schemes and styles, ideal for both residential and commercial areas.
