Pitch Pine Floorboards
ref. - 2004
Original Pitch Pine flooring salvaged from the Army Reserve Centre in Dunfermline, Fife. The building was once used as drill halls during World War I, meaning the boards date back to at least 1914. They are incredibly robust, boasting a 30mm thickness. There are occasional white badminton court markings on the face which can be removed when sanded. The images show the boards in their salvaged condition and after sanding with a hard wax oil finish.
