Opepe is an African hardwood, originating from countries such as Ghana, The Ivory Coast, Nigeria etc. It has a warm, orange-to-brown colour tone with a relatively straight grain pattern. This particular batch was salvaged from the gymnasium of Kings Park Secondary School in Glasgow.
