Opepe Flooring
Ref. - 1733
Opepe is a tropical hardwood mainly grown throughout Africa's equatorial forests. It is an exceptionally durable and stable timber, with a warm, orange-brown colour tone. This particular floor was salvaged from Cumnock Academy in Ayrshire. The images show the boards in their salvaged condition and after sanding with a matt lacquer finish. Due to this floor being poorly laid originally, it incurred breakages to the tongue & underside groove when uplifted by our team. However, it will still lay perfectly when glued down on to chipboard, ply, concrete or floorboards.
