Birch flooring salvaged from a gymnasium in Alloa, Clackmannanshire. Originating from Canada, Birch is a hard-wearing timber with a light colour tone and intricate grain pattern. It is suitable for both domestic and commercial use. The images show the boards in their salvaged condition and after sanding with a clear, water-based varnish finish.
